Mother Butter’s Popcorn and Confectionery is family-owned-and-operated, with our grand opening April 6, 2009. We are life-long popcorn lovers and residents of the City of Chicago and are very particular when it comes to serving true Chicago Popcorn.
We feel that something has been lost in the way people cook in our generation. We want to bring back the way our mothers and grandmothers used to. No short cuts.
We use all-natural popcorn ingredients including real creamery butter, sea salt, pure cane brown sugar, real cheddar cheese, and fresh ground herbs and spices using no artificial flavors or preservatives while making only four gallons at a time. Our Gourmet Caramel is made from scratch using an old family recipe. We could have very easily put a cheaper product out using a powdered premix but it just would not feel right. So we stuck with our plan to make the best gourmet caramel and cheddar corn you have ever tasted. We don't believe you should settle for anything less. We guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
